Alessandro Amore represents Malta as an umpire in Germany
Maltese international umpire Alessandro Amore is continuing to make a name for himself on the international sports scene, as he is currently taking part in the 6 Nations Under-18 Easter Boys Tournament being held in Rüsselsheim, Germany, featuring high-level national teams.
So far, Amore has already officiated three important matches in the tournament, between Germany and Poland, as well as Wales versus Poland. Yesterday, he also took charge of the encounter between Poland and Scotland.
This participation marks Amore’s fourth international tournament, following previous appointments in competitions held in Gibraltar, Lithuania, and the Netherlands. The experience he is gaining forms an important part of his continuous development as an international umpire.
In fact, these international appointments are also serving as preparation for his next challenge, as Amore is looking ahead to the Qualifiers B, which will be held in Finland this coming July.
