Floriana head coach Daniel Portela has been named Best Coach for May following a remarkable end to the season that saw the Greens crowned Maltese Premier League champions for the 27th time in the club’s history.

Portela played a pivotal role in leading Floriana through the decisive stages of the campaign, with the team producing composed and disciplined performances when it mattered most.

Floriana secured their place in the title decider after overcoming Valletta in the semi-final before sealing the championship with a memorable victory over Marsaxlokk in the final.
