Karl Chircop appointed as umpire at EuroHockey Club Challenge II
Hockey umpire Karl Chircop is representing Malta at international level after being selected to officiate matches at the EuroHockey Club Challenge II taking place in Toruń, Poland.
During the competition, Chircop will be in charge of several matches involving teams from Hungary, Lithuania, Gibraltar, Wales, Sweden, and Poland, covering both the group stage and the classification matches scheduled throughout the week.
This marks the second time Karl Chircop has been appointed to a tournament at this level, following his previous experience at the EuroHockey Challenge II held in Turkey in 2023.
This development continues to highlight the ongoing progress of Maltese umpires on the international stage, as they gain further opportunities and valuable experience abroad.
