Żebbuġ Rangers FC have officially announced the appointment of Billy Mock as the club’s new head coach, marking the beginning of an important chapter for the Challenge League side. The club confirmed the news earlier this week, expressing confidence that Mock’s experience, leadership, and modern approach to the game will strengthen the team’s ambitions for the coming seasons.

Mock’s Extensive Coaching Career

Mock has built a solid reputation within Maltese football through over 35 years of work in youth development and senior coaching roles. His career highlights include:

• Malta U19 National Team: Served as the head coach for the national Under-19 team.
• Swieqi United FC: Spent a decade at the club, leading the senior team to promotion to the BOV Challenge League in 2018 and serving as Technical Director.
• Birkirkara FC Women: Most recently signed as the head coach for the successful Birkirkara FC women’s team in mid-2025.
