Inter’s women’s team, featuring Maltese international forward Haley Bugeja, will be visiting Malta for a training camp at the beginning of January.

Between January 3 and 7, Inter will be based in Malta as they prepare for the second half of the season. The visit will take place ahead of the inaugural VisitMalta Women Club Trophy, which will be staged the following week and will bring together four top women’s football clubs: two-time UEFA Women’s Champions League winners VfL Wolfsburg, Frauen-Bundesliga side TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, Dutch outfit PSV Vrouwen and Switzerland’s FC Basel.

As part of Inter’s programme in Malta, the Nerazzurre will face Hibernians Women in a friendly match on January 6 at the Tony Bezzina Stadium. The match will be particularly special for Bugeja, who will be wearing Inter’s colours on Maltese soil for the first time.

The Maltese forward arrives in excellent form, having played a key role in Inter’s recent Derby della Madonnina victory over AC Milan, where she scored a hat-trick in an emphatic 5–1 win.

This will not be Inter’s first visit to Malta. In December 2022, the club’s men’s team travelled to the island, playing friendly matches against Gżira United and Red Bull Salzburg.
