Phoenix’s Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks combined for 65 points as the Suns dominated the injury-ravaged Indiana Pacers on Thursday, cruising to a 133–98 victory.

The Pacers, still reeling from Tyrese Haliburton’s ruptured Achilles in last season’s NBA Finals, were missing several key players. Haliburton is expected to miss the entire season, and Indiana also played without Obi Toppin, Bennedict Mathurin, Quenton Jackson, Kam Jones, and an ailing Cody Martin.

Indiana has now dropped six straight games since its lone win of the season on November 1. With a 1–11 record, the Pacers are tied with the Washington Wizards for the league’s worst record. Thursday’s 35-point defeat marked their most lopsided loss of the season.

Meanwhile, the Suns extended their winning streak to five games, improving to 8–5 and climbing to seventh in the Western Conference. The surge comes as Phoenix navigates a rebuilding season under first-year coach Jordan Ott, following trades of Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal.

Booker led the charge with 33 points, while Brooks added 32. Phoenix led by as many as 46 points during the rout. Off the bench, Oso Ighodaro contributed 17 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks.

Indiana’s injury woes worsened when Aaron Nesmith left the game in the third quarter with an apparent left knee injury after his foot tangled with a teammate’s. He was helped off the court, though Pacers coach Rick Carlisle offered a cautiously optimistic update.

“At this point, it looks like we may have dodged a bullet in terms of something very serious, but he’ll miss some time,” Carlisle said.

Elsewhere, the short-handed Atlanta Hawks overcame the Utah Jazz 132–122 behind a standout performance from Jalen Johnson, who posted a triple-double with 31 points, 18 rebounds, 14 assists, and seven steals.

Onyeka Okongwu added 32 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocks for Atlanta, hitting a career-high eight three-pointers. The Hawks held leads of 18 in the first half and 15 in the third, but Utah fought back, briefly taking the lead twice in the fourth quarter before Atlanta pulled away for good. Lauri Markkanen scored 40 points for the Jazz.

In Cleveland, the Toronto Raptors pulled off a 126–113 road win over the Cavaliers. Scottie Barnes tallied 28 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists for Toronto, while Donovan Mitchell led Cleveland with 31 points. The Cavs had played in Miami the night before, beating the Heat.
