Sirens C&J Bonavia have secured the first honour of the season in commanding fashion, winning the inaugural Waterpolo Women’s Enemed Cup with an emphatic 24-6 victory over San Giljan. The result was the highest winning margin recorded in the competition.

Sirens established control of the match early and never looked back, showcasing significant attacking power. The scoring was led by a standout performance from Kaia Agius, who netted seven goals, followed closely by Zaira Bartolo with five. Chloe Amato added a hat-trick, while Kendra Navarro, Eyala Montfort, and Martha Perici Ferrante each contributed two goals. Single goals from Elise Amato, Nevise Agius, and Jorgi Stellini rounded out the scoring for the champions.

San Giljan, despite their best efforts, struggled to contain the Sirens offense. Their goals came from Elena Borg, who scored three times, while Ella Miceli, Ezmily Mifsud, and Jovana Pantovic each registered one goal.

The match was controlled by referees Ronnie Spiteri and Neville Mercieca.
