The race for European club water polo’s ultimate prizes enters its final stretch with only one month remaining until the historic joint Champions League Final Fours in Malta.

For the first time in history, the Men’s and Women’s Champions League Final Fours will take place simultaneously. The elite event will bring Europe’s top eight clubs to the iconic Tal-Qroqq Aquatic Centre from 10–13 June for four days of world-class action.

The Qualification Race

  • Men’s Division: All four Final Four spots are officially locked in following the conclusion of Quarter Final Matchday 5 on Wednesday, 13 May. The final round on 20 May will determine seeding.
  • Women’s Division: The final lineup is being decided following the high-stakes, second-leg Quarter Final clashes on Saturday, 16 May.

A Historic Milestone for the Sport

This joint tournament marks a groundbreaking moment for European water polo. By sharing the same elite stage and venue, the women’s game receives equal spotlight alongside the men’s competition.

Malta is well-prepared for the occasion, having successfully hosted the men’s Champions League Final Four for the past two seasons. This June, the island expands its hosting legacy with an even bigger celebration of the sport.
