Sirens secured their first triumph in the Nordic League Group A after defeating KKASC 10–6 in a determined performance in Antwerp.

From the opening sprint, Sirens showed greater organisation and sharper finishing, earning a well-deserved victory that puts them on the board in this season’s campaign.

Agius Leads the Charge With Four Goals

Kaia Agius was the standout performer for Sirens, delivering a commanding display and netting four goals. She proved decisive in key moments and maintained constant pressure on the KKASC defence.

Anna Gesheva added two goals, while Denise Micallef, Chloe Amato, Zaira Bartolo, and Martha Perici Ferrante each found the back of the net once, rounding off a balanced and effective offensive effort.

Penalty Struggles But Dominance in Open Play

Sirens were awarded five penalties, converting only two, a statistic that kept the match closer than it might have been. Despite this, Sirens’ superior movement and defensive discipline ensured they remained in control throughout.

KKASC Response Led by Airbus

On the opposing side, KKASC relied heavily on Airbus, who scored four goals and kept his team within reach for much of the match. Goude and Hoolise contributed a goal each, but KKASC struggled to break through Sirens’ compact defence in the second half.

A Crucial Boost for Sirens

This victory gives Sirens an important confidence boost in Group A, marking their first win of the Nordic League campaign and potentially turning the momentum in their favour as the tournament progresses.
