Qala Saints edge Nadur Youngsters to reach GFA KO Quarter-Finals
Qala Saints booked their place in the semi-finals of the GFA 1st Division KO after a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Nadur Youngsters at the Kercem Stadium on Saturday.
Nadur Youngsters drew first blood in the 25th minute through Daniel Vella, finishing a well-worked move to give his side an early lead. Qala responded before the break, and on 42 minutes Ibrahim Mohammed levelled the score with a composed finish.
Qala completed the comeback shortly after halftime when Nathan Chukwudi Njoku struck in the 53rd minute, sealing a deserved win for the Maroons, who showed greater intensity in the second half.

Gharb Rangers and Sannat Lions Share the Points in Gozo 2nd Division
In the BOV Gozo Football League 2nd Division, Gharb Rangers and Sannat Lions played out a goalless draw (0–0) at the Kercem Stadium earlier in the day.
