Sliema Wanderers Football Club have announced that Head Coach Paul Zammit has departed the club with immediate effect, following discussions held in a positive and constructive spirit between both parties.

The decision was reached by mutual agreement after careful consideration, with the club and coach concluding that a parting of ways was in the best interests of Sliema Wanderers as they continue to pursue their sporting objectives and long-term vision.

During his time at the helm, Zammit led the senior team through a challenging period and was praised for his professionalism, commitment and dedication to the role. The club placed on record its sincere appreciation for the work carried out by the coach, thanking him for his efforts and wishing him every success in the next chapter of his professional career.

Sliema Wanderers also confirmed that further updates regarding the senior team’s technical setup and future direction will be communicated in due course, as the club looks ahead to the remainder of the season.
