Nadur and Xagħra share the spoils in Gozo First Division Clash
Nadur Youngsters FC and Xagħra United FC played out a 1-1 draw in their GFA BOV Gozo Football League First Division encounter at the Gozo Stadium on Friday evening.
Goals in Either Half
Nadur made the brighter start and took the lead after 18 minutes when Neil Mifsud found the net to put his side ahead at the interval.
However, Xagħra responded early in the second half and restored parity on 49 minutes through Ibrahim Salis, ensuring the points were shared in a balanced contest.
Referee Andrea Naudi officiated the match.
Bottom Sides Still Locked Together
The result leaves both teams level on five points at the foot of the table after 12 matches, with neither side able to gain ground in the battle to move away from the relegation zone.
