The sixth day of competition at the European Blackball Championships in Ennis, Ireland delivered a blend of impressive victories and narrow defeats for Malta’s national teams.

One of the standout matches of the day was the thrilling clash between Malta Men’s A and England A, a contest that swung back and forth with neither side able to pull away. Malta started strongly, but England repeatedly fought back, eventually edging ahead to claim a 13–12 win in a dramatic finish. Earlier, the Maltese squad led by Clevion Micallef earned a convincing 17–8 victory over Catalonia.

In the Men’s B category, Malta enjoyed one of their most dominant performances of the tournament, sweeping past Northern Ireland B1 with a resounding 19–6 win. However, in the Seniors B section, Malta fell 15–10 to a steady Wales Seniors B side.

The U23 team continued their excellent form, overpowering Ireland 3 with a commanding 22–3 result, showcasing control and confidence throughout the match.

In the Under-15 category, Malta produced two strong performances: an 11–4 win against Scotland followed by a convincing 12–3 victory over Wales U15 A.
