Chris Tabone reaches Seniors Individual semi-finals

Chris Tabone advanced to the semi-finals of the Seniors Individual competition at the Blackball Nations Cup after defeating James Edmonds 5-2. It was an excellent performance from the Maltese player, who showed great precision in his shot-making to secure his place among the last four.
In the quarter-finals, Luke Said was also in action but was eliminated by Triston Horton with a 5-2 scoreline.
As the sixth day of the competition, currently being held in Gibraltar, concluded yesterday, Malta’s Men’s A team continued their positive run with two solid victories, beating Wales 15-10 and Mexico 21-4.
Meanwhile, the Men’s B team experienced mixed results. After registering wins against Spain (14-11) and Wales B1 (14-11), they suffered a 16-9 defeat to Scotland.

The Under-23 team recorded two victories, overcoming Northern Ireland A 20-5 and Scotland 15-10.
Finally, the Seniors A team secured wins of 17-8 against Gibraltar and 13-12 against Northern Ireland A. In the latter match, the Maltese side held their composure to edge a closely contested encounter.
