Mġarr United stay perfect as Żebbuġ Rangers Rally on Matchday 10 of Youth League B

Mġarr United maintained their flawless start to the season with a 4–2 away victory over Pembroke Athleta FC on Tuesday, in a match marked by a blistering opening spell from the league leaders.
The Greens wasted no time in asserting their dominance, racing into a two-goal lead inside the opening six minutes. Wisdom Osaretin Igiebor was the architect of the fast start, opening the scoring on the fourth minute before striking again just two minutes later to stun the hosts.
Pembroke responded positively and pulled one back on 15 minutes through Kasim Albdeery, injecting new life into the contest. However, Mġarr quickly reasserted control, with Igiebor completing his hat-trick shortly afterwards to restore a two-goal cushion and cap a devastating first-half display.
Pembroke were unable to reduce the deficit again before the interval, and Mġarr went into the break firmly in command.
After the restart, the visitors continued to look dangerous going forward and were rewarded on the hour mark when Zack Scerri added a fourth goal to extend their lead. Pembroke continued to push in search of a way back into the match and managed to score again in the 73rd minute through Kyle Cassar, but it proved too little, too late as Mġarr saw out the contest comfortably to move onto a maximum 30 points from 10 matches.
In the other Matchday 10 fixture, Żebbuġ Rangers FC produced a strong second-half comeback to claim a 2–1 victory over Kirkop United, a result that saw them climb to third place in the standings.
Kirkop made an excellent start and took the lead after just four minutes when Andrey Attard found the net. The early goal set the tone for a competitive first half, with Żebbuġ pushing forward but struggling to break down a well-organised Kirkop defence.
The turning point came just after the hour mark. Żebbuġ first drew level following an own goal by Kirkop goalkeeper Christian Ciantar, who was unfortunate not to keep the ball out despite getting a hand to it. Moments later, the Rangers completed the turnaround, as Steve Philip Balzan struck decisively to put his side ahead barely a minute after the equaliser.
Kirkop attempted to respond and salvage a point, but Żebbuġ held firm to secure all three points and cap a dramatic second-half turnaround.
