LeBron James will join forces with fellow US Olympic teammates Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry in a star-studded NBA All-Star lineup, announced Tuesday.

This year’s All-Star format has been refreshed: three teams will compete — two composed of US players and one made up of international stars. The teams will face off in a round-robin mini-tournament, with the top two squads advancing to the final.

James, Curry, and Durant, key members of Team USA’s gold medal-winning squad at the 2024 Paris Olympics, will lead the “USA Stripes” team. They will be joined by Boston’s Jaylen Brown, New York’s Jalen Brunson, Los Angeles Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard, Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell, and Miami’s Norman Powell.

The second American team, “USA Stars,” features Detroit’s Cade Cunningham, Minnesota’s Anthony Edwards, and Oklahoma City’s Chet Holmgren, alongside Phoenix’s Devin Booker, Philadelphia’s Tyrese Maxey, and Detroit’s Jalen Duren.

The “World” team will be led by reigning NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of Oklahoma City, Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic, San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama, and Denver’s Nikola Jokic.

The All-Star festivities are set to take place in Los Angeles on February 15, promising a thrilling showcase of the league’s top talent.
