Jiménez header guides Fulham past London rivals West Ham

Fulham extended West Ham United’s Premier League woes with a late 1-0 victory at the London Stadium, leaving the Hammers without a win in seven games (D3, L4).
From the outset, Fulham dominated possession, passing with precision and confidence to unsettle their London rivals. Harry Wilson was central to Fulham’s attacking threat, forcing Alphonse Areola into a full-stretch save from a well-struck effort.
West Ham struggled to create chances early on, only testing Bernd Leno in the 15th minute when Jarrod Bowen broke free but saw his shot comfortably parried for a corner. Much of the match was played in a congested midfield, limiting opportunities for both sides.
Crysencio Summerville offered glimpses of promise for the hosts, but his final deliveries often fell short, returning possession to Fulham. Soungoutou Magassa also squandered a close-range chance, while Emile Smith Rowe and Antonee Robinson made sporadic forays down West Ham’s right, without causing serious danger. By halftime, the contest remained largely flat.
The second half mirrored the first, with Fulham missing a golden opportunity when Wilson’s cross eluded everyone in the box. West Ham briefly responded with greater urgency, seeing Lucas Paqueta fire on target and Bowen just miss a flicked chance from a Magassa cross. Substitute Callum Wilson also went close twice but could not find the net.
Fulham’s persistence paid off in the closing stages. Five minutes from time, Raul Jiménez rose powerfully to meet a Harry Wilson cross, heading home the decisive goal.
The win lifts Fulham to 10th place in the Premier League, maintaining their streak of one-goal results in recent matches. West Ham, meanwhile, remain in the bottom three, five points adrift of safety.
