Ħamrun 147 B claim Regional Easter Trophy
Ħamrun 147 B claimed victory in the Regional Easter Trophy after defeating Qormi Pinto 13–7 in the final of the competition organised by the Malta Blackball Federation.
The opening two frames were closely contested. After Ħamrun took the lead, Qormi responded immediately to level the score. However, Ħamrun 147 B maintained greater consistency, going on to win successive frames and gradually extend their advantage. In the end, they secured the title, adding another honour to their season following their earlier success in the Regional Christmas Trophy.
Ħamrun 147 B were coached by Chaylon Castaldi, with the team composed of Jake Castaldi, Casdy Vella, Liam Mifsud, Steven Muscat, Nordai Desira and Matthias Debono.
Qormi Pinto, on the other hand, featured Shawn Galea, Chris Galea, Denzel Falzon, Jeffrey Farrugia, Gilmoure Scicluna, Stephen Falzon, Christopher Demicoli and Duncan Edwards, under the guidance of coach Mark Tabone.
