The 2026 Boċċi season will get underway this Friday with the Super Cup.

The new boċċi season officially begins with the Super Cup, organised by the Federazzjoni Klabbs tal-Boċċi, featuring a clash between Għaxaq and Buġibba.
Għaxaq secured their place in this match after winning the First Division Championship, having shown consistent form throughout the season to claim the title on merit. Meanwhile, Buġibba qualified after lifting the Anġlu Cup, following a dominant performance in the final against St Peter’s Żabbar.
The Super Cup final will be played at the Ħaż-Żabbar pitch and is scheduled to start at 6:30pm.
In the meantime, the teams participating in the First, Second and Third Division championships have also been confirmed.
The First Division will consist of 12 teams: Buġibba, Birkirkara, Għaxaq, Lija, Msida, St Peter’s Żabbar, Qormi S.B, San Ġwann, Santa Venera, Żebbuġ, Żejtun and Żurrieq.
The Second Division will feature 11 teams: Birgu, B’Buġia, Floriana, Ħamrun, Isla, M’Xetto, Mosta, Qormi S.G, St Lucia, Thallassalejn and Żabbar.
