Feyenoord’s Europa League home match against Panathinaikos has been rescheduled for 21:00 CET on Thursday, following severe weather warnings across the Netherlands. The game was originally set for 17:45 CET, then briefly moved to 15:30 CET before being pushed back again due to worsening forecasts.

The decision came after updated weather models predicted the approaching storm would reach the Dutch mainland earlier than initially expected. Authorities requested the change after the national weather service issued a Code Orange alert for wind speeds exceeding 100 km/h, Feyenoord confirmed in a statement late Wednesday.

UEFA and Feyenoord had previously agreed that the fixture could proceed with an earlier kickoff, but safety concerns prompted another revision.

“Feyenoord realizes that this change is very last-minute and may affect existing plans, especially for supporters with tickets,” the club said. “However, the club also considers this a case of force majeure.”

The Rotterdam side added that supporters unable to attend the rescheduled fixture will be eligible for ticket refunds, with further details to be announced next week.
