Como hit five against Torino, powered by Addai’s brace, to climb into top six

Como surged into Serie A’s top six with a dominant 5–1 demolition of Torino, inspired by a superb Jayden Addai brace that ended the hosts’ six-match unbeaten streak in emphatic fashion.
Riding a 10-game unbeaten run in all competitions (W4, D6), Como began brightly at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino. Alvaro Morata carved out the first real chance of the evening, glancing a close-range header narrowly wide after finding space inside the area.
Torino slowly settled and fashioned opportunities of their own, though both Adrien Tameze and Duván Zapata failed to trouble the target with promising efforts. Despite not having scored first in any away league match this season, Cesc Fàbregas’ side came closest to breaking the deadlock as the half-hour mark approached. Ivan Smolčić saw a goalbound effort superbly blocked, and Morata’s follow-up was thwarted by goalkeeper Alberto Paleari.
Como’s pressure finally told in the 36th minute. Jesús Rodríguez sliced through the Torino defence with a brilliant run and delivery, leaving Addai with a simple eight-yard finish to make it 1–0.
But the advantage lasted only moments. Rodríguez was harshly adjudged to have handled inside the box, and Nikola Vlašić calmly dispatched the resulting penalty to level on the stroke of half-time.
The equaliser did little to disrupt Como’s rhythm. Just seven minutes after the restart, Addai struck again—this time drilling a crisp low drive from distance into the bottom corner to restore the visitors’ lead.
From there, the Biancoblù took complete control. With half an hour remaining, they put the contest beyond reach with two goals in a six-minute blitz. Jacobo Ramón powered home a close-range header from Máximo Perrone’s precise cross, before Nico Paz added a composed fourth—again supplied by the influential Perrone.
Como cruised through the final stages, and substitute Martin Baturina capped the rout late on with a swift breakaway run and tidy finish. The victory extends their unbeaten away sequence to five matches (W2, D3) and firmly cements their position among Serie A’s early-season frontrunners.
