European Women’s Waterpolo Conference League: Sant Feliu and ZVL cruise to comfortable victories

Sant Feliu CNSF overpower San Ġiljan to secure Group A top spot
Sant Feliu CNSF delivered one of the most dominant performances of the European Women’s Waterpolo Conference League so far, registering a 31–3 victory over San Ġiljan, a result that confirms the Spanish side as winners of Group A.
CNSF were relentless from start to finish, spreading their scoring across the entire squad.
Perez led the charge with 5 goals, followed by Moore with 4.
A trio of players — Navarro, Asencio, and Seco — each netted hat-tricks, while Matafora, Barbero, Sanz, Urvari, Portell, and Varquez all finished with two goals apiece.
Rego added another to round off the imposing final scoreline.
San Ġiljan struggled to withstand the Spanish pressure but still managed to get on the scoresheet through Mary Rose Tully, who scored twice, and Elena Borg, who added another.
ZVL claim comfortable win over Sirens to take third in Group D
Dutch side ZVL wrapped up their group campaign with a strong 17–2 victory against Sirens, securing third place in Group D.
ZVL enjoyed an even spread of goals, with Joor, Kraaibeek, Pauli, and Linhort all scoring hat-tricks.
Van der Schaaf added two, while Voorvelt, Van der Laan, and Terpestra each contributed one goal.
Sirens, despite the tough opposition, netted twice through Kaia Agius, while Nevise Agius also found the target.
Both Maltese teams close their group commitments facing some of Europe’s strongest sides, gaining valuable experience at this level of competition.
