The Cup Winners’ Cup 2025 – Trap Event, held on Sunday, 9 November 2025, at the Malta National Shooting Ranges, produced a day of high-level competition and impressive marksmanship as Jean Pierre Coleiro (Class A), Philip Camilleri (Class B), and Abiel Cassar (Class C) emerged victorious in their respective classes.

Following the qualifying rounds, the top two shooters from each class advanced to the final round, which consisted of 25 single-shot targets.

In a tightly contested Class A final, Jean Pierre Coleiro showcased his consistency to finish with a score of 19/25, securing top honours. In Class B, Philip Camilleri matched that performance with an identical 19/25, demonstrating composure and precision under pressure.

Meanwhile, Abiel Cassar produced the standout result of the day, taking victory in Class C with an impressive 20/25, topping the leaderboard and underlining his growing reputation in the local trap shooting scene.

The event concluded a successful day of shooting, highlighting the depth of talent and competitive spirit among Malta’s trap shooters.

The next competition on the calendar will be the Podium Cup, scheduled for Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November 2025, once again at the Malta National Shooting Ranges.
