Żebbuġ Boċċi Club are the new First Division Charity Cup champions after defeating Għaxaq Boċċi Club 22–17 in a tightly contested final.

The Charity Cup is decided on the total points accumulated across three matches — 1×1, 2×2, and 3×3 formats.

In the opening singles (1×1) match, Żebbuġ’s Joseph Tabone gave his team a strong start, overpowering Għaxaq’s Noel Axiaq with a convincing 21–3 victory.

Għaxaq bounced back impressively in the doubles (2×2) encounter, where Emmanuel Spiteri (garatur) and Michael Buhagiar (fendatur) dominated to claim an 11–0 win. Żebbuġ were represented by Paul Vassallo (garatur) and Chris Mallia (fendatur) in this round.

That result gave Għaxaq a 14–11 lead heading into the decisive 3×3 match. But Żebbuġ responded in style, with Tabone, Vassallo, and Mallia delivering a commanding 11–3 victory over Spiteri, Axiaq, and Buhagiar.

With a final aggregate score of 22–17, Żebbuġ Boċċi Club secured the 2025 Charity Cup title, adding another honour to their club’s history under the Malta Bocci Federation.
