The Malta Table Tennis Association (MTTA) Division 1 League is off to a thrilling start, with HITT Academy WH Middle East, TopSpin TTA “Andro”, and MITTC Butterfly all tied at the top of the standings after the opening two rounds of play.

All three teams have maintained a perfect record so far, winning both of their matches. HITT Academy WH Middle East lead the way on goal difference, boasting an impressive +12, while TopSpin TTA “Andro” and MITTC Butterfly follow closely behind with +10 and +7 respectively.

The mid-table is tightly packed, with Alpha Alberta Group, HITT Academy Mosta Dome B&B, Alpha GEWO, HITT Academy Liebherr, Mosta Gunners, and Valletta HITT Academy all sitting on three points apiece, each registering one win from their first two encounters.

At the lower end of the table, Alpha Coogis, MITTC Dignics, and TopSpin TTA “Roxon” are still seeking their first victories of the season. TopSpin TTA “Roxon” currently occupy the bottom position with a –8 game difference.
