Munxar Falcons 1-4 Sannat Lions

Sannat Lions stayed within striking distance of the top spot with a clinical 4-1 victory over bottom-placed Munxar Falcons. The match began in favor of the Lions when talisman Igor Nedeljkovic converted a penalty in the 20th minute. Munxar showed resilience, however, leveling the score through Luke Meilak ten minutes before the break.

The turning point arrived just two minutes into the second half when Munxar were awarded a penalty of their own. Meilak had the chance to turn the game on its head, but his effort whistled wide. Sannat punished the miss shortly after, as Cyriel Buttigieg restored their lead in the 55th minute. Paul Said added a third in the 77th minute before Nedeljkovic completed his brace in the final minute of regulation time to seal a dominant three points.

St Lawrence Spurs 2-1 Zebbug Rovers

League leaders St Lawrence Spurs survived a massive scare against Zebbug Rovers, requiring a 94th-minute strike to secure all three points. The Spurs took the lead through Felipe Augusto De Oliviera in the 29th minute, but their advantage lasted only three minutes before Jake Sacco equalized for the Rovers.

The match seemed destined for a draw until the dying seconds of stoppage time. De Oliviera proved to be the hero, netting his second goal of the afternoon in the 94th minute to keep the Spurs three points clear at the summit of the GFA Second Division.
