San Ġiljan Aquatic Sports Club have announced the signing of international player Jake Muscat, as the club continues to reinforce its squad ahead of the upcoming season.

Muscat becomes one of several players to make the switch from long-time rivals Neptunes, taking the next step in his career as San Ġiljan build a competitive and ambitious team for the challenges ahead.

The Maltese international arrives with a strong résumé at both domestic and international level. His career has seen him gain valuable experience abroad, featuring for Jadran Herceg Novi in Montenegro, as well as Italian sides Nuoto Catania and Telimar Palermo. Competing in some of Europe’s most demanding water polo leagues has played a key role in shaping Muscat into a disciplined, resilient and highly competitive athlete.

Known for his intensity in the pool and his strong mentality, Muscat brings leadership, experience and a winning mindset that will be vital for San Ġiljan as preparations for the new season gather pace.

The club expressed confidence that his arrival will add quality and depth to the squad, further strengthening their ambitions as they look to challenge on all fronts in the coming campaign.
