Real Madrid suffer setback as Thibaut Courtois out of UCL quarter-finals

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is set to be sidelined for up to six weeks with a leg muscle injury, ruling him out of next month’s Champions League quarter-final clash against Bayern Munich.
In a statement released on Thursday, the club confirmed that medical tests revealed a muscle injury in the rectus femoris of Courtois’ right quadriceps, with his recovery to be closely monitored.
The setback adds to Real Madrid’s growing injury concerns, as several key players—including Kylian Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, and Éder Militão—are also dealing with fitness issues.
