Pietà Hotspurs booked their place in the next round of the BOV Challenge Cup after securing a narrow 1–0 victory over Swieqi United at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The match proved to be a tightly contested affair, with both sides showing determination in possession and working hard to create openings. Swieqi United attempted to take the initiative early on, looking to stretch Pietà’s defence and exploit spaces in the final third. However, Pietà remained organised at the back and gradually grew into the game.

As the match progressed, chances were at a premium, with both teams struggling to find the decisive final touch in front of goal. Pietà Hotspurs eventually managed to break the deadlock, capitalising on one of their opportunities to take the lead and put themselves in a strong position.
