San Ġwann celebrated their first win of the season with a well-earned 4–2 victory that lifts them to four points and breathes new life into their campaign.

A standout performance from Hailey Russell, who struck twice, set the tone for the home side. Goals from Morena Fanega and Fatma Algirbi added further cushioning as San Ġwann controlled large stretches of the match.

Valletta mounted a late rally through Eliza Csik and Joelma, but the damage had been done, leaving the Citizens rooted to the bottom of the table with just one point.

Mġarr United strengthened their title credentials with an authoritative victory over Birkirkara.

The league leaders asserted control early, going two goals up before half-time thanks to composed finishes from Valeria Villegas and Maria Hernandez. Soon after the restart, Amber Grech added a third to effectively seal the contest.

Birkirkara’s Maia Gauci pulled one back in the closing stages, but the Stripes struggled to match Mġarr’s intensity and precision, allowing the Greens to maintain their perfect record.
