Malta Futsal National Team head coach Roberto Menichelli has unveiled a 16-player squad for the upcoming Futsal Week January Cup, which will be held in Labin, Croatia, between 19 and 26 January.

The international tournament will feature a competitive line-up, with Malta set to face Türkiye, Greenland, San Marino, Morocco, Romania, Scotland and Switzerland during the week-long event. Malta will begin their campaign on 22 January with a challenging opening match against Türkiye.

The tournament is seen as an important test for Menichelli’s side as they continue their preparations and development on the international stage, offering valuable exposure against a mix of European and non-European opposition.

The selected squad blends experience with emerging talent, as the national team looks to build momentum and cohesion ahead of future competitive commitments.
