Kalkara United took a significant step toward securing promotion this Sunday, February 22, 2026, dismantling Dingli Swallows 2-0 at the Centenary Stadium to open up a commanding ten-point gap at the top of the BOV Amateur League II.

The league leaders relied on the clinical finishing of Ryan Dalli, who set the tone with an early goal in the 5th minute. Dalli doubled his tally and secured the three points in the 70th minute, leaving the Swallows unable to respond.
