Juventus push intensifies in bid to bring Chiesa back from Liverpool

Federico Chiesa’s possible switch from Liverpool back to Juventus is approaching a pivotal stage as the transfer window edges toward its conclusion.
Recent discussions between the two clubs have centred on whether an agreement can be reached in time and, crucially, on the terms required to make a deal viable. Juventus are exploring the option of bringing the Italian international back to Turin, where he played between 2022 and 2024, though considerable work remains to narrow the gap between the sides.
From Chiesa’s standpoint, the winger has been keen to establish himself at Liverpool and test his abilities in the Premier League. However, Juventus’ renewed interest has prompted serious reflection, with sources indicating the move is now firmly under consideration.
Time is a key factor. Juventus are aware that progress must be made swiftly or they will be forced to pursue alternative targets. Their preference is for a loan deal, but Liverpool have so far shown little enthusiasm for that structure.
As a result, sources suggest negotiations are more likely to advance if a permanent solution is proposed. Chiesa, for his part, is increasingly receptive to a return to Italy, particularly if it positions him as a central figure in Juventus’ long-term plans. He is understood to have already been briefed on the role the club envisions for him.
The primary obstacle remains financial. Aligning Juventus’ offer to Liverpool with a suitable personal package for the player is proving challenging, and clarity on both fronts will be essential for any breakthrough.
Until those issues are resolved, the deal remains in the balance, with Juventus continuing to evaluate other options should they need to change direction quickly.
