Tarxien Rainbows FC have officially confirmed that the club and Jonata Bastos have mutually agreed to part ways.

The Brazilian midfielder joined Tarxien Rainbows during the summer transfer window of 2025 and made eight appearances for the club in the YoHealth Malta Premier competition. Throughout his short spell, Bastos showcased professionalism, commitment, and a strong work ethic in midfield, contributing to the team’s early season efforts in the league campaign.

Bastos arrived in Malta with experience in international football, having played in several clubs abroad prior to joining the Rainbows. His intelligent positioning, technical ability, and disciplined approach made him a reliable option in the squad.
