Jake Grech named LifeStar Insurance most valuable player for December
Floriana attacking midfielder Jake Grech has been awarded the LifeStar Insurance Most Valuable Player for December, securing the honour for the second month in a row.
Grech’s latest recognition comes after a series of outstanding performances that played a key role in Floriana’s impressive run, as they were the only side to win both of their Top Six matches during December.
During the month, Grech was named Man of the Match in Floriana’s victory over Birkirkara, while his crucial goal against Sliema Wanderers helped the Greens close out 2025 at the top of the league standings.
The December MVP trophy was presented to Grech by LifeStar Insurance CEO Roberto Apap Bologna prior to kick-off in Floriana’s recent match against Ħamrun Spartans.
