Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has confirmed that winger Antoine Semenyo will be available for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Arsenal, despite the winger’s imminent move to Manchester City.

Semenyo has been in sensational form this season, contributing 11 goals and assists in 16 appearances, making him a crucial figure for the Cherries. While Manchester City are reportedly set to secure his services in a £65 million deal, Iraola insists the 25-year-old will remain with Bournemouth for the next few games.

“Yes, Antoine is going to play,” Iraola said. “No, this is not his final game. The idea is that he’ll be available for the next two matches, and hopefully more, but the market is unpredictable. Right now, he’s our player, and we want to keep him as long as possible.”

The Ghanaian international’s departure would be a significant blow for Bournemouth, who have relied heavily on his goal contributions this season. When asked how the team could cope without him, Iraola praised Semenyo’s professionalism and commitment.

“He is a massive player, not just this season,” Iraola said. “If we lose him, it will be a big hit, but everyone has to give their best. Antoine is a top professional who wants to help the team, and I have no doubt he will do everything he can for us while he’s here.”

With Semenyo set to lead the attack, Bournemouth hope to make a statement against Arsenal before his expected move to the Etihad Stadium.
