Mark Herrera and Josanne Attard Pulis emerged victorious in the final event of the 2025 Hudson Race Series, powered by Nike. The series concluded on December 8 with the Valletta Edition, a challenging course featuring steep climbs that runners tackled under ideal sunny conditions.

In the 10km race, Mark Herrera established an early lead and maintained a consistent pace, successfully securing first place. He managed to keep his competitors at bay during the course’s most demanding sections. Jeremy Curmi finished in a close second, just one second ahead of third-place finisher Brahim El Khattabi.

Josanne Attard Pulis delivered another strong performance to win the women’s 10km race. She finished ahead of Jolene Debattista in second place and Brigitte Calascione in third.

The 5km race saw Brandon Saliba take the top spot, followed by Emanuel Zammit and Conway Cachia, who secured closely matched podium finishes. In the women’s 5km category, Rosalie Borg Cauchi claimed victory with a 19-second advantage over Cypriot runner Chrystalla Hadjipolydorou, while Charyl Fava finished third.

Race Founder and Director Charlie Demanuele expressed his satisfaction with the success of the 10th-anniversary season, thanking the athletes for their continued support. He noted that the blend of scenic and demanding routes continues to attract runners of all skill levels.

Looking ahead, the 2026 Hudson Race Series, powered by Nike, will commence on February 1 with the Three Cities Edition. Registration for the 2026 series is now open online.
