Ħamrun Spartans produced a commanding performance to advance comfortably in the FA Trophy Round of 32, defeating Victoria Hotspurs 5–0 on Saturday at the Victor Tedesco Stadium in Hamrun.

The Premier League side dominated from the outset and never allowed their visitors from Gozo to settle, scoring early and constantly threatening throughout the contest.

The Spartans controlled possession for much of the match and created a host of scoring opportunities, while Victoria Hotspurs struggled to break through an organised home defence. Ħamrun recorded a significantly higher number of shots and dangerous attacks, reflecting their superiority across all areas of the pitch.
