Reigning champions Falcons kicked off the new volleyball season in style on Sunday afternoon at the Cottonera Sports Complex, claiming the Super Cup with a convincing 3–1 win over newly promoted Paola Executive Security.

Led this season by Italian coach Goffredo Gauzzoni, Falcons made their intentions clear early on, dominating the opening two sets 25–16 and 25–20. Paola, finalists in last year’s National Cup, showed strong character in the third set, edging a narrow 25–23 win to keep the match alive. However, Falcons closed the contest in the fourth set, taking it 25–19 to seal the title.

At the end of the final, Branko Vlahovic, President of the Malta Volleyball Association, presented the trophy to the Falcons players and technical staff. For Paola, the match was a valuable test of their level against the reigning champions.
