Dusan Vlahovic May Remain at Juventus Following Luciano Spalletti’s Arrival

A week can change everything in football, and that appears to be the case for Dusan Vlahovic and Juventus.
Following the managerial switch that saw Luciano Spalletti replace Igor Tudor, Vlahovic’s career in Turin has been given fresh momentum.
Earlier reports suggested the Serbian forward might reconsider his decision not to renew his contract this summer, and his recent performances are giving new hope that he could remain at the club beyond this season.
Vlahovic impressed in Spalletti’s first game against Cremonese, and on Tuesday night, he scored Juventus’ only goal in a 1-1 Champions League draw with Sporting CP. The new coach has spoken positively about him, signaling a potential U-turn in his Juventus future.
Staying at the club would require a significant pay cut for Vlahovic. Currently earning €12 million, Juventus would ideally reduce his salary by nearly half under their revised financial framework. While a tough decision, there is even the possibility of a one-year extension as no clear pathway away from Juve has emerged.
Intermediaries have explored a move to England, keeping Premier League clubs updated on his situation in case a January transfer becomes viable. Juventus value him at around €20 million if he were to depart in the winter window, emphasizing they are keen to avoid losing him for free at the end of the season.
With a bright start under Spalletti, there is renewed optimism that Dusan Vlahovic could extend his stay at Juventus and continue contributing to the club’s campaign.
