Decisive Week for Maltese Futsal as Women’s Play-off Spots Confirmed

This was a defining week for Maltese futsal as the women’s play-off field was finalized and the men’s leagues entered their decisive stages.
Enemed Women’s Futsal League
Zero Sei Futsal maintained their perfect record with a 6–2 victory over St. George’s Futsal, remaining top of the table with 25 points. Taking advantage of this result, Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus moved into second place (19 points) after a dominant 7–0 win over Parr Mela Rockets Futsal, led by a four-goal performance from Rodianne Borg.
The final play-off spot was secured by Swieqi United Futsal LEC07, who defeated direct rivals St. Andrew’s Futsal 2–0. Krista Montfort scored both goals to ensure her team’s progression to the next phase.

Men’s Challenger Futsal League
In the Midweek Challenge, the Futsal Selection U19 retained their lead at the top of the standings with 9 points after a 7–4 victory. Santa Venera Lightnings Futsal moved into second place with 7 points following a win against the Futsal Selection U17.
Men’s Premier Futsal League
The top two teams continued their strong form to stay clear of the chasing pack. Luxol St. Andrew’s Futsal delivered a clinical 9–1 performance against Zejtun Corinthians Futsal WA to stay first with 27 points. Meanwhile, the University of Malta Futsal kept the pressure on with a 3–1 win over Marsaskala Futsal Legends, bringing their total to 24 points.
