Cremona, Randon, and Valletta Triumph at Bormla Table Football Grand Prix
Last weekend, the Bormla Grand Prix took place, showcasing several elite Maltese athletes in a high-level Table Football tournament.
Veterans Category
Massimo Cremona emerged as the champion after defeating Jason Pisani 1–0 in a tight final. Charlie Aquilina and John Zammit also put in strong performances, reaching the semi-final stage.
Open Category
In the Open division, Samuel Bartolo and Mark Gauci both reached the quarter-finals, while Jurgen Balzan advanced as far as the barrage round.
Under 20 Category
Robert Farrugia Randon claimed the title in the U20 category. After a 2–2 draw in regulation time against Jayden Bonnici, Randon secured the win via a penalty shootout.
Teams Category
Valletta SC took home the trophy in the team event, defeating Bormla 2–1 in the final. Both teams had previously dominated the group stages, finishing in first and second place respectively.
