Chris Wood back from injury ahead of World Cup in major boost for NZ

Chris Wood is set to return from a long injury layoff, providing a significant boost for both New Zealand ahead of the World Cup and his club Nottingham Forest.
The 34-year-old has been out of action since October after suffering a knee injury, which required surgery in December.
His return was confirmed by Nottingham Forest head coach Vítor Pereira during a press conference ahead of the club’s Europa League quarter-final first-leg clash against FC Porto on Thursday.
“He has started training with the team and is available for the game,” Pereira said on Wednesday.
