Casemiro to depart Manchester United after contract runs out

Casemiro has confirmed he will leave Manchester United at the end of the season when his contract expires. The 33-year-old Brazilian midfielder made the announcement on Thursday, bringing an end to his four-year spell at Old Trafford.
The former Real Madrid star shared the news in a video posted on social media, reflecting on his time with the club and confirming his decision to move on once the current campaign concludes.
“Knowing when a chapter comes to an end. Knowing when to say goodbye, especially when you feel you’ll always be remembered and respected,” Casemiro wrote.
He added that he remains fully committed to the club for the remainder of the season: “Four more months to give everything for this badge and for our goal. My respect and affection for Manchester United and its wonderful fans will last forever. Forever a Red Devil.”
Since arriving from Real Madrid, Casemiro has made 146 appearances for Manchester United, scoring 21 goals and registering 12 assists, playing a key role during his time in the Premier League.
