Head coach Andoni Iraola has confirmed that Justin Kluivert and Ben Gannon-Doak will miss Saturday’s home match against West Ham after both returned from international duty with injuries.

Kluivert, who was away with the Netherlands, sustained an abductor injury, while Gannon-Doak was forced off while playing for Scotland due to a hamstring problem.

“I’m worried, of course. It was a difficult international break for us,” Iraola told reporters.

“We’ve had confirmation that Justin has suffered an abductor muscle injury, so he’s going to be out.

“Ben Gannon-Doak has a hamstring injury. Ben’s is a serious one, and he’ll be out for quite some time. Today we consulted with a surgeon to determine whether he’ll need an operation or if we can take a more conservative approach.

“Ben will be out for several months, which is really bad news.”

Bournemouth host West Ham on Saturday, November 22.
