Birkirkara FC continued their activity in the transfer market by announcing two new signings on the second day of the window, further reinforcing their squad ahead of the remainder of the season.

After earlier unveiling central defender Ronivan Bispo dos Santos, the Stripes later confirmed the acquisition of Sebastian Viveros Lopez, adding fresh options to their midfield department.

Once again, Birkirkara have turned to South America to bolster their ranks. Viveros is a 28-year-old Colombian midfielder known for his high energy levels, strong tactical awareness and his ability to contribute effectively in both defensive and attacking phases of play.

This move marks Viveros’ first experience with a European club, having spent his entire career so far on the South American continent. He began his professional journey in his native Colombia before moving to Bolivia, where he featured for San Antonio Bulo Bulo and gained valuable experience through regular first-team football.

More recently, the Colombian midfielder was plying his trade in Uruguay with Central Español. He now embarks on a new chapter in his career with Birkirkara, as the Maltese club continue to strengthen their squad in a bid to improve their fortunes for the remainder of the campaign.
