Bayern Boost as Harry Kane Returns Before Real Madrid Showdown

Harry Kane returned to training with Bayern Munich on Monday, offering encouragement ahead of their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Real Madrid as he continues to recover from an ankle issue.
The striker sustained the injury while on international duty with England national football team in late March, forcing him to withdraw from last week’s friendly defeat to Japan national football team at Wembley. Head coach Thomas Tuchel later described the problem as only a minor concern.
Kane was subsequently left out of Bayern’s squad for their 3-2 Bundesliga victory over SC Freiburg on Saturday.
However, the 32-year-old looked in positive spirits as he trained with his teammates during a 15-minute session open to the media on Monday, suggesting he is edging closer to full fitness.
Vincent Kompany will wait until matchday evening before deciding whether to start Harry Kane in Bayern’s clash with Real Madrid.
Kane has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 48 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions, including 10 strikes in nine UEFA Champions League matches.
