Qormi continued their strong push for promotion, defeating bottom-table Kirkop United 2-0. Despite early pressure from Qormi, Kirkop created several chances in the first half, testing Qormi goalkeeper Daniel Attard multiple times. Qormi finally broke the deadlock in the 64th minute with a superb free kick from Claudio Antunes, who went on to secure his double and the points three minutes from time.

Mqabba 3, Zejtun Corinthians 1

Mqabba recovered lost ground against mid-table Zejtun Corinthians in a lively encounter. Mqabba took the lead through Tenorio in the 33rd minute. Zejtun equalized in first-half stoppage time in chaotic fashion; after missing two separate penalties in a minute, captain Stefi Cale stabbed home the rebound from the second effort. Mqabba regained control immediately after the restart, with Luka Mijic scoring in the second minute of the second half, followed by Tenorio grabbing his second two minutes later to seal the win.

Luqa St Andrew’s 2, Senglea Athletic 0

In a crucial relegation clash, Luqa St Andrew’s secured vital points against rock-bottom Senglea Athletic. Luqa took the lead in the 23rd minute with an excellent strike by Lois Essomba Tsoungui. Senglea missed two glorious chances to equalize before a dreadful defensive error allowed Thomas Grech to double Luqa’s lead in the 64th minute, pushing them further away from the relegation zone.

Attard 3, Qrendi 1

In a top-of-the-table clash, Attard defeated Qrendi to open a three-point gap at the top. The first half was a cautious affair. Qrendi came closest to scoring in the 58th minute when Ryan Spiteri’s free kick hit the post. Attard responded with three goals, the first from Precious Uchechukwu in the 64th minute, followed by a superb effort from Staline Degabriele in the 71st. Qrendi reduced the deficit late on, but Uchechukwu sealed Attard’s win in stoppage time.

Lija Athletic 4, Pembroke Athleta 1

Lija Athletic secured a comfortable 4-1 victory over Pembroke Athleta, with Ross McParland scoring a brace.
