Ajax poised to offload Raul Moro after disappointing six-month spell

Spanish winger Raul Moro is set to depart Ajax after just six months, with LaLiga side Osasuna closing in on a deal for the 23-year-old.
Moro arrived in Amsterdam from Real Valladolid last summer in a transfer reportedly worth €10 million. Ajax had monitored the Spanish youth international for more than a year, but his move has failed to deliver the desired impact, with the winger registering just one goal and one assist across 21 appearances in all competitions this season.
While Ajax initially considered sending Moro out on a six-month loan, Voetbal International reported on Tuesday that the club has now opted for a permanent exit instead.
Osasuna, who were also interested in Moro during the summer transfer window, are now poised to secure his signature for an undisclosed fee, despite Ajax still believing there is untapped potential in the player. According to Marca journalist Matteo Moretto, Moro has already agreed personal terms with the Pamplona-based club.
Moro remains under contract with Ajax until 2030, but his time in the Eredivisie appears set to end far earlier than anticipated.
