The second Ranking Tournaments organised by the Malta Table Tennis Association (MTTA) have drawn to a successful close, capping off several weeks of high-quality competition and exciting matches across all age groups.

The tournaments once again highlighted the depth of talent within Maltese table tennis, with young prospects and senior players alike delivering strong performances throughout the event.

• Under 13: Jake Arora 🥇, Ben Vella 🥈
• Under 15: Kayden Griscti 🥇, Arina Ivanova 🥈
• Under 19: Luke Fenech 🥇, Neil Incorvaja 🥈
• Girls Seniors: Alice Mariani 🥇, Nadia Bonett 🥈
• Seniors: Daniel Bajada 🥇, Luke Bonello 🥈

In total, a record-breaking 302 matches were played during the tournament series, underlining both the scale and popularity of the competition. All events bar one were completed before 11pm, a clear reflection of efficient planning, excellent time management, and the cooperation of players, coaches, and officials alike.

The MTTA League and Tournaments Sub-Committee played a key role in the smooth running of the events, ensuring a professional environment that allowed players to focus fully on their performances.

Special thanks were extended to Roberta Vella Photography for capturing memorable moments from the tournament, and to Luke Sultana for producing the custom 3D-printed trophies that added a unique and lasting touch to the occasion.
